Join Nick Pearson for his series of art history lectures focusing on the great artists who appeared in the recent Renaissance to Pop series. During the sessions you’ll discover the importance of each artist, how they influenced the artistic movement and where they got their sources of inspiration from. Nick has compiled a series of lively illustrated lectures.

13th May – Alberto Giacometti (1901–1966)
20th May – René Magritte (1898–1967)
3rd June – Edward Hopper Nighthawks (1942) and other works
10th June – British Painting in the 1960s: Francis Bacon (1909–1992) and Lucien Freud (1922–2011) David Hockney (b. 1937)
17th June – Andy Warhol (1928–1987)
24th June – ‘Other Forms’ (Land Art, Performance, Installation, Feminist and Conceptual Art of the 1960s-70s)
1st July – Damien Hirst (b. 1965)
8th July – Tracey Emin (b. 1963)
15th July – Grayson Perry (b. 1960)

After each lecture Nick will send you a copy of his comprehensive, illustrated notes via email. Not able to make the lecture but still want the notes? For a fee of £5 we can email you a copy of the notes.
