Open House is open to all

Does your home or premises have an interesting story to tell? The Open House Festival returns in September, with the doors and gates of hundreds of properties across the capital thrown open for people to visit and enjoy.

The festival is an amazing opportunity to explore the remarkable buildings and landscapes of London, as well as the chance for individuals, communities and organisations to tell their stories.

As well as allowing people to see inspiring architecture and built heritage, it is also bringing people together, building a greater sense of belonging and community cohesion.

In previous years, Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery has taken part in Open House, but the festival is not just about grand houses.

The open houses run from modest flats to council estates; from warehouses to offices. The festival is about celebrating the unique community that is London and that also includes outdoor spaces, walking or cycling tours, or events such as a film night, community workshop, exhibition or performance.

Want to get involved? Applications to be part of the Open House Festival are now being accepted, via the website www.open-city.org.uk/open-house-festival-2024

The final deadline for submitting your application is Monday 1 July at 5pm.

Open House Festival 2024 will run across the capital from 14-22 September.
