Ealing boasts a vibrant arts scene that supports creativity, inclusivity and economic growth. From Pitzhanger Manor House and Gallery, to our bustling local festivals and community-led galleries and cinemas, the borough thrives on cultural events that brings people together.

Ealing Council recently launched 367,100 Creatives, our cultural manifesto for creative change aiming to create direction, focus and ambition for culture in Ealing. As part of the delivery of this manifesto, today we announce our brand-new web-hub on our expanding arts and culture website, listing spaces to hire across the borough.

This new extensive venues listing site helps organisations and businesses across the whole of the borough promote the many spaces they have for hire, supporting the creative economy. For the community and creative producers, this will provide a much-needed resource for finding just the right spot for their needs. We are pleased to be the first London council to offer such a resource to its residents and businesses.

Spaces include community centres, theatres, faith venues, galleries, classrooms, cinemas, libraries and more that can be hired for all sorts of cultural endeavours including, but not limited to; performances, workshops, film screenings, rehearsals, meetings, exhibitions, auditions and professional studio recording. We look forward to this growing and encourage venues not included so far to sign up their spaces.

I am delighted that this new resource has been added to our Ealing culture website.  We are the first London council to create a venues directory for residents which includes non council spaces and this is part of our commitment to deliver the asks from our cultural manifesto. We hope this unique project will encourage cultural producers and the community alike to use these spaces and I look forward to more venues in the borough joining the list.
