Letters from Global South Community Day

30-Sep-2026

Description & further information

Join Ealing Friends of the Earth for a community day alongside the exhibition. Bring your good-quality unwanted children’s uniforms, clothes and toys to swap with other families and take home what you need. It’s a simple way to reduce textile waste while supporting one another in the community.

There will also be a seed potting station where you can learn how to care for plants and take home your own pot and seeds, as well as a climate trail for children and families to follow clues and complete the challenge.

A food court will be available throughout the day, offering a variety of freshly made dishes.

Visit our exhibition, which features letters from children and communities across the Global South, including Indonesia, Nigeria and Bangladesh and many more, sharing how decisions made here in the UK and the impacts of climate change are affecting their lives. It invites us to see the climate crisis from their perspective and consider what we can do locally.

The building is fully accessible with lift access. Please dress modestly in accordance with the venue’s guidelines.
