Spooky Slime Make & Take

29 & 31-Oct-2026

Ealing

Description & further information

Get ready for a wonderfully messy Halloween activity at Gunnersbury Park & Museum.

In this hands-on slime-making workshop, young monster-makers will create their very own batch of spooky nature slime before customising it with a collection of eerie and enchanting ingredients inspired by the natural world.

Will you make a boggy swamp slime filled with moss and woodland leaves? A sparkly dragonfly slime glittering with scales? Or a creepy crawler slime packed with insects and mysterious treasures?

Choose from a range of colours and special add-ins to create your own unique creation, then give your slime a name and take it home in a handy pot.

And… there’s much more happening elsewhere in the museum to mark Halloween Season, including Creepy Creatures Nature Trail, Spooky Cinema and Autumnal Bird Spotting Strolls.

This activity is suitable for children aged 6+.

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Protective aprons will be provided, but we recommend wearing clothes that can get messy.

Due to the materials used, this activity may not be suitable for children with certain skin sensitivities.

Please let us know about any allergies, skin sensitivities or additional needs in advance.

Please book your slot in advance.

There are four sessions on each day, Thursday 29th and Saturday 31st October:

  • Session 1: 10:30-11:15
  • Session 2: 12:00-12:45
  • Session 3: 14:00-14:45
  • Session 4: 15:15-16:00
