Description & further information

Nazi Germany sought to reshape German society, uniting those deemed to belong to Hitler’s vision of a ‘national community’ while persecuting and excluding those who did not. Join historian Dr Lisa Pine, Fellow of the Institute of Historical Research, University of London, as she explores how the Nazi regime sought to transform the nation through propaganda, political ideology, and social policy.

The lecture will examine the devastating consequences of this vision of national unity for Jews, Roma, Sinti and other persecuted groups. Whether you’re interested in Nazi Germany, the history of propaganda, or the relationship between society and political power, this promises to be a fascinating evening. We hope you’ll join us.
