Come and try-out the transformed, flexible, multipurpose spaces at our Ealing Libraries
At the end of last year, our libraries in Northolt and Acton and the Southall Dominion Centre were closed to undergo a £900,000 transformation. We’re now almost ready to open them again and invite you to a whole range of activities to launch the centres.

Our updated centres can host a wider range of activities for the local community. Facilities include flexible spaces for hire, community hubs to use for cultural events, performances and meetings.
Other changes include a new pop-up stage, upgraded technology and new study areas. There are now also mobile bookshelves at all three libraries that can be moved around to allow for the rooms to be used in multiple ways. Some of the furniture and the stage has been produced by local makers at the Park Royal Open Workshop, which the council supports.
The project is supported by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and was delivered with the support of Ealing staff, community users and local makers.
