MeWe360 is a not-for-profit driving transformational change towards a more racially equitable arts and creative sector.

In 2027 they will be launching a new programme we are developing to help young creatives make the transition from developing their craft to building a sustainable career in the creative industries. They are recruiting a team of 18-25 year-olds to form a paid Youth Steering Group to shape T-Minus, to make sure it’s relevant, useful and genuinely valuable.

What is T-Minus?

The programme is for talented, young creatives who have developed sufficient creative or transferable skills to succeed in a professional creative environment if given the opportunity.

It will help them take that next step to:

  • Get career/business ready
  • Build their network
  • Make and showcase their work
  • Learn from professionals
  • Get into the creative industries

The idea is simple: developing your talent is only part of the journey. T-Minus is about helping young people turn that talent into a career.

What will the Youth Steering Group do?

The Youth Steering Group will help to shape the programme and answer some important questions:

  • Is there a need for T-Minus?
  • What would make it genuinely valuable?
  • How should young people engage with it?
  • What’s missing?
  • How should it work in today’s creative industries?

Who should apply to join?

Brilliant and committed creatives aged 18–25 who have experience working in the creative industries and want to help others access opportunities in the sector.

You might be interested in joining if you:

  • Want to make a difference for the next generation of creatives.
  • Have ideas about what helps young people build creative careers.
  • Are willing to share your experiences, ask questions and challenge our thinking.

The programme is open to everyone, while retaining a commitment to support Black and Brown young creatives. MeWe360 believe an open and diverse network can strengthen opportunities, relationships and collaboration for everyone, including those who have historically had less access to industry networks and opportunities.

Commitment: Attend six one-hour sessions, five nline and a final in-person event for a wider audience. Dates currently to be confirmed.

Fee: £50 per session

Deadline: Friday 20 November

Expressions of interest: please email admin@mewe360.com with a short introduction and MeWe360 will let you know next steps.
