New Gen is West London’s festival by and for youth.

The festival takes place as part of Ealing Summer Festivals in Walpole Park, just a ten-minute walk from Ealing Broadway Station. New Gen Festival is a platform for the next generation of talent. We provide opportunities for emerging artists, performers, creatives and young people to showcase their work, develop new skills and connect with their community through arts and culture.

You can expect:

  • Main Stage – emerging artists, cyphers, DJs and more
  • Amplify Stage – open mics and community programming
  • Dance Battles – breaking and popping competition from Battle of the Boroughs
  • Drop-ins – including musical instrument tasters with MIND

We provide opportunities for emerging artists to take the stage – but New Gen is much more than a one-day festival with events taking place through the year including open mics, workshops and training.

Our lead partners are:

Bollo Brook Youth Centre

A hub of constant creativity, always looking to push the boundaries of youth expression, whether through arts, music, politics or lived experiences.

JE Delve

A grassroots youth work charity founded by Jamal Edwards MBE providing young people in Ealing with opportunities to learn, work and connect.

Thank you to Bollo and JE Delve – and all our other partners and supporters. We really do appreciate all of your support that means New Gen has made it to our fifth year!
