Are you a performing artist? Join our Open Mic night:
- Saturday 12th September, 6-9pm
- Dominion Centre and Library
Express your creative self through poetry, spoken word or put your words to music at this Open Mic night led by Mr Gee and Kameran. Bring your poem, bring your voice, bring your instrument or just bring yourself.
A writer, poet or performer? Join our Dead Poet’s Slam:
Thursday 1st October, 6-9pm- Acton Library
Celebrate the poets of the past who continue to inspire us. Dress as your chosen poet and perform one of their poems. There will be prizes for best fancy dress. All languages and experience levels welcome! Led by BAFTA award winner Dean Atta.
Is film your thing? Join our screening with Q&A:
- Thursday 8th October, 5-7pm
- Ealing Central Library
Two Black Boys in Paradise not only won at the BAFTA’s this year – it was also the winner of the Best Animation Film at last year’s Ealing Film Festival! Come and see the film screened at the library, followed by a Q&A with experts including local experts including Professor Dennis Olsen from West London University and film-maker Dean Atta.
