Young dancers on stage at New Gen Festival

The New Gen Festival, a one-day celebration of music, dance and spoken word by and for young people in Ealing, is returning this summer.

Now in it’s third year, the festival returns to Walpole Park on Wednesday 24 July.

The fun-filled day will include a host of music, activities and entertainment for young people aged 10 to 25 where they can come together, express themselves and find out about creative careers.

The packed programme includes workshops, showcases, performances and music battles.

There will be a live music stage and happenings for young people interested in getting involved in the arts and culture, from storytelling and writing workshops to artwork sessions; dance and music tutorials to a chance to find out about film careers, in front off or behind the camera.

New Gen are currently looking for volunteers for roles in marketing, marketing, and production, and on-the-day opportunities to volunteer as a steward. Sign-up via the online form here.

Check back on this website for more details and keep up to date with the festival on Instagram.
