Raising laughs to raise vital funds

Ealing’s only theatre – The Questors Theatre – has been a part of the Ealing landscape for nearly 60 years, so it’s no wonder that its roof has seen better days.

To maintain the theatre’s high standards (and plug a few leaks), the Studio theatre and rehearsal rooms urgently need a new roof. The Questors Comedy Festival is a new event designed to bring laughter to local residents while raising much-needed funds to secure the future of this vital part of Ealing’s cultural scene.

The star-studded line-up includes Channel 4 Taskmaster alumni Andy Zaltzman, Desiree Burch, Mark Watson and Phil Ellis, as well as award-winning stand-ups and staples of the Edinburgh Fringe including Shappi Khorsandi, Ninia Benjamin and Marcel Lucont.

The theatre will also be hosting two children’s shows:

  • Les Enfants Terribles – A Gameshow for Awful Children from Marcel Lucont
  • Funz and Gamez’ with Phil Ellis and Huge Davies

By bringing together some of the UK’s best comedians, alongside two high-quality family shows over Easter, we’re aiming to create something that genuinely delights both families and comedy audiences, whilst raising vital funds to support the theatre.

Simon Rudkin, Chairman of the Board, The Questors Theatre
