Y-Our Story: visual stories of Acton is an Arts Council funded year-long celebration of community storytelling and creative collaboration at Acton Library. After an ambitious launch earlier in the year, it continues with Out of Hours Sharing Stories taking place on 15th November. This free spoken word event features the Y-Our Story poets; Tuup,Amir Darwish, Akuba, Anthony Smith and Jordan Campbell, plus an Open Mic spot.
My name is Tuup. I am a storyteller, poet, percussionist and lyricist. I write songs for Transglobal Underground a tecno electronica dance band. I work with Crick Crack Club, EveryDay Magic , British Museum and many other organisations. I have an educational app for children on iTunes download. Produced by Story Spinners. My last storytelling CD is called Children of The Sweet Water. I hope you enjoy the stories.
